Abstract
Blueberry was stored at 15¡É in modified atmospheres of six levels of CO©ü at each of three constant O©ü levels, and quality attributes of physical and chemical characteristics were determined after 10 days. Physical keeping quality (fraction of sound fruits) was higher with lower O©ü and higher CO©ü concentrations. Soluble solid to titratable acidity ratio was greatly affected by CO©ü concentration, having lower value at higher CO©ü atmosphere. Optimal modified atmosphere for storage and packaging of blueberry was found to be 17~18% CO©ü with ¡Â9% O©ü. Maintaining the quality of blueberry was found to be highly interrelated with respiration.
